What is the Xbox? It is a sixth generation era console used for video game playing made by Microsoft Corporation. You have multiple options when you get started. Your first option is visit a Battlemaster directly. Usually located in all major cities, battlemasters will allow you to directly enter the Battleground queue without having to travel all the way to the battleground you're interested in. You must simply wait in the queue and when your turn pops up, you'll be transferred to the appropriate battleground.

You can also visit the battleground you're interested in playing in directly. You must simply run to one of the m any red portals located throughout the world and enter. However, you can only enter the portal appropriate to your main faction, Horde or Alliance.

Getting Started

Once you go through a portal or talk to a battlemaster, you are given the option to decide when you'd like to enter the instance. You can either choose to enter when the first available spot opens up or you can wait for as long as is necessary to enter the instance that you want to play. The instances are numbered so that each player can let his or her friends know which one they are in if they want to join each other.

The Queue

The queue begins as soon as you make your choice. An icon will appear at the bottom of your mini map to let you know what position you have in the queue and how long it will take to get into an instance. You can change your choice at any time by simply clicking on that icon.

Furthermore, you are not stuck in your location when you enter a queue. You can travel anywhere in the game and wait for the instance to clear up. As soon as it does, you will be transmitted directly to the Battleground.

Entering the Battleground

When it's finally time to enter the Battleground, you will be shown a dialogue box that asks you if you are ready to join. You have only one minute to make your decision before you are booted from the Queue altogether, so finish up what you're doing quickly.
